Another Sim which is allegedly too advance for consoles, is coming to consoles. Hopefully they do a better effort port wise than the hacks at Slightly Mad Studios.

It will be interesting to see what it ends up being like. I really should fire AC up and give it a try again, I haven’t driven in it for a while.

I just really wish all these sims came with an optimal tuning setup for each track+weather condition, I mean I like being able to fiddle with suspension stuff but at the same time I don’t want to spend a bunch of time tweaking setups for each track. Sometimes I just want to jump in a new car on a track I haven’t driven and just have the best drive I can manage.

HAAAH. Worlds smallest driving simulator

NO OFFENSE PAL, BUT ASSETTO has made minimal progress in the last year. By now everyone expected the game to be COMPLETE but in reality it has like 6 TRACKS, 6 tracks@(#$(#$(#$(#

HAHAHHA 6 tracks, no weather, no night.

MEHHHH

Mugello, Monza, 1966 Monza, Silverstone (all 3 variants), Spa, Vallelunga, Trento Bondone hillclimb, Nordschleife +Endurance and Tourist variants, Nurburgring GP+ Sprint variant

Seems pretty complete to me. The amount of time it would take you to learn all of these tracks in all of the cars would be monumental. Plus, this is PC, so there are a bunch of good mod tracks. rFactor 2, another complete game, only has 6 or 7 tracks by default, the rest being user made mods.

Really looking forward to this. More GT cars than PCars and the full Nurburgring 24 circuit? Be great to finally have a race without framerate issues.

Sorry bro I’ve been playing the racing games and I do league racing, generally an hour and half on a new track each week. That is a shit track count, and it’s not at all complete. Not to sound like a complete ass but your comment about the time to learn the minimal number of tracks in AC is simply so far off base and wrong I question if you really play these type games. I’m talking about people who play these games everyday or nearly so. Thats why people raged on Forza 5 for it’s limited and missing tracks which still whoops AC in terms of variety and total tracks.

Thats why people went to pcars despite the physics being better in ac. The reality is for people who like to play racing games tracks are everything.

AC has taken forever to release a lot of it’s content and frankly there isn’t much there in total. If you have a wheel and and a nice pc you should buy it.

Point being AC will never challenge pcars or even Forza on consoles unless it expands beyond the am of tracks I can count of my 2 hands.
